Sea Buckthorn Pulp

Sea buckthorn, also known as seaberry, is a shrub that produces attractive orange berries renowned for their numerous health benefits. These berries are packed with vitamins, minerals, and omega fatty acids, including the rare omega 7.

Our sea buckthorn pulp is made from dehydrated, juiced berries, hand-harvested and organically grown in Ontario. The texture is slightly chewy, comparable to raisins with a single tiny chewable seed inside.

Sea buckthorn pulp has a tangy, orange-lemon flavour, with aromas reminiscent of citrus fruits and tropical scents. The taste can vary depending on the variety, often resembling flavours of apricot and mango.

You can incorporate the pulp into quinoa and other grain bowls, salads, or meat and vegan pâtés. Try them to top off your morning granola, yogurt parfait, or pannacotta. It pairs nicely with fish, poultry, and creamy cheeses.

Shelf Life is approximately 1 year. Store in cool dry place.

Breakfast in a jar with dried sea buckthorn and yogurt is a natural and healthy breakfast.

For Breakfast in a jar with dried sea buckthorn and yogurt, we will need:

• 20 g dried sea buckthorn OR 1 Tblsp of Sea Buckthorn Jam or Marmalade
• 50 g of flakes
• 100 g of natural yogurt
• 1 Mango
• 1 Kiwi
• 1 teaspoon of honey

Preparation:

1. Peel the mango and kiwi
2. Now we need a blender. Put the kiwi, mango and 1 teaspoon of honey in a blender bowl and mix the ingredients until smooth.
3. Pour the flakes and dried sea buckthorn or jam into the bottom of the jar.
4. Pour natural yogurt on top.
5. Then add the resulting fruit puree with honey.
6. Your delicious breakfast is ready!
